Illuminate – Responsive eCommerce Store

Illuminate is a sleek, responsive eCommerce store developed using the Yii2 PHP framework and Bootstrap. The project was built to provide a modern, scalable shopping platform with a clean user experience and robust backend functionality.

Designed with clarity and usability in mind, Illuminate features dynamic product listings, a shopping cart, and a smooth checkout process. It includes essential eCommerce components such as user authentication, order management, and an easy-to-use admin dashboard.

Illuminate was developed using Yii2’s MVC architecture, which keeps the application modular and maintainable. The frontend was built with Bootstrap, ensuring responsive design across all devices. I structured the project around reusable components and Yii2’s built-in routing and validation features.

Key components include:

• Dynamic product management (categories, filters, stock)

• User registration, login, and profile dashboard

• Add-to-cart and order checkout functionality

• Admin panel for managing inventory, orders, and users

• Contact form and customer communication via mail settings

Performance, usability, and clean coding practices were prioritized to ensure the site runs efficiently and is easy to scale or customize in the future.
